Lustrous 1952 silver 5 Patacas from Portuguese Macau. Features the arms of Portugal on the obverse and the coat of arms of Macau on the reverse. A desirable mid-20th century issue from the Portuguese overseas territory in China.
Obverse: Portuguese arms on globe with cross of Christ, “REPUBLICA PORTUGUESA” and date 1952.
Reverse: Crowned Macau arms with “MACAU” and Chinese characters, denomination “5 PATACAS”.
