1738 Anna Ioannovna Silver Rouble Moscow Type Bit-201 5 Pearls KM-198:

The 1738 silver rouble of Anna Ioannovna was struck at the Krasny (Red) Mint in Moscow during her reign (1730–1740). This is the Moscow-type issue distinguished by the portrait style of engraver Dmitriev and the specific variety with five pearls in the empress’s headdress (Bitkin 201). The obverse shows the crowned and elaborately dressed bust of Anna facing right, with the surrounding legend naming her as Empress and Autocrat of All Russia. The reverse features the crowned double-headed imperial eagle holding scepter and orb, with the date 1738 above and the denomination legend МОНЕТА РУБЛЬ around. Struck in .802 fine silver, the standard weight is 25.85 grams with an actual silver weight of approximately 0.666 troy ounces and a diameter of about 41 mm. It is catalogued as KM-198, Bitkin 201, and Davenport 1674.
